Llamas

Llamas, widely used as a pack-animal in South America, are grown here in Florida as pets and companion animals. Known for their long luxurious hair, llamas are social animals and like to live with other llamas or barnyard animals. Mother llamas can't lick their newborns because their tongues are attached to their mouths so that they won't stick out more than a half-inch. Instead, they nuzzle their babies and "hum" to them.
